Global launch for cloud-based inward investment business,

Following a business and personal relocation to Jersey at the end of 2015, New Zealand entrepreneur Simon Angelo has now completed the global launch of his cloud-based business,

Already attracting interest from US-based venture capitalists, the business aims to measure the return on investment (ROI) of any marketing activity carried out by a company.  Using four powerful marketing management tools which, together, rank and monitor activity, the system uses that data to suggest new campaigns which show the highest potential.

This is supported by local marketing expertise from around the world and as new campaign information is added, the system learns what works best for that particular business.

Mr Angelo's 18 year career heading up an advertising agency, running multi-media direct response adverts, gives him insight into the business need and the budgetary restrictions a business can face when considering marketing activity. Mr Angelo explains; 'Once clients find the right mix of marketing activities that work, they can usually grow quite quickly if they have a good product or service.  The challenge is finding activity both in traditional and online media that can actually acquire new customers in a profitable way.'

'This becomes even more challenging when companies are marketing offshore.  However, the good news is that with media becoming more and more fragmented, there are more opportunities than ever before for small and medium sized businesses.'

With assistance from Locate Jersey and the support of Digital Jersey, Mr Angelo relocated himself, his family and his business to the island in late 2015.  Now based at the Digital Jersey Hub, he is already seeing the benefits of working in a gigabit-connected co-working space.
