We looked at other jurisdictions and whilst many offer a lovely lifestyle, Jersey was the only place that could offer us the lifestyle as well as excellent schools. In other offshore locations we are familiar with, the only real source of good schooling is to send your children overseas to boarding school. This wasn’t a situation that would suit our family and, I have to say that we certainly haven’t been disappointed by the excellent on-island education our children are now enjoying. The schools really are as good as we’d hoped they would be and more.”
“For me, one of the best parts of living in Jersey (apart from all the wonderful restaurants!) is the peaceful, spacious, safe and secure lifestyle that you can lead.
One of my favourite things is to walk our dog through the beautiful ‘Green Lanes’ that criss-cross the Island, call into the fishery nearby to collect some delicious local sea fare and then pick up some freshly dug Jersey Royal potatoes from one of many ‘honesty’ farm stalls at the roadside on my way home. There aren’t many places in the world where you can do that anymore.”
